Starfill Plus with Lidocaine is a hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler made by JETEMA, a South Korean medical device manufacturer.

Specifically, it targets fine lines, adds subtle lip volume, and treats delicate areas like the under-eye and pretarsal roll. The formula includes 0.3% lidocaine, so patients experience noticeably more comfort during injection compared to most standard fillers.

It comes as a 1.1 ml pre-filled syringe with two 27G needles, and trained medical professionals use it exclusively.

What Makes It Different?

Most HA fillers look identical in a syringe. However, the real differences come down to how manufacturers make them. JETEMA produces Starfill Plus using their proprietary ZEEP technology (Zero Endotoxin and BDDE Entire Process).

Here’s why that matters in plain terms: the cross-linking chemical that makes HA fillers last longer — called BDDE — can linger in the gel and potentially cause reactions. Beyond that, Starfill Plus is also mono-phasic — meaning the gel flows smoothly and uniformly throughout, rather than containing distinct particles in a carrier. In thin-skinned areas like the lips or under-eyes, patients can sometimes feel bi-phasic particles after treatment. With Starfill Plus, that problem simply doesn’t arise.

Where Is It Used?

Starfill Plus is a soft, moldable filler. In particular, it performs best where precision and a light touch matter most:

• Lips — delivers natural volume with a smooth, comfortable feel. Its fine, uniform texture makes it one of the better-tolerated options in this sensitive area, and patients consistently report natural-looking results.
• Under-eye and tear trough — works as part of a layered approach, targeting the SOOF and subdermal planes. Specifically, practitioners keep volumes small — around 0.2–0.3 ml per side — because this tissue absorbs water readily and responds to even minor overfilling.
• Pretarsal roll — the thin strip just above the lower lashes. For this reason, this site needs a soft, cohesive product that holds its shape cleanly without leaving visible residue as it gradually fades.
• Fine lines — forehead lines, crow’s feet, perioral lines. In these areas, a lighter gel consistently outperforms denser volumizers, delivering smoother correction without stiffness.
• Forehead surface layer — practitioners pair it alongside Starfill Deep Plus for the shallower skin layer, where surface molding is the primary goal rather than deep structural support.

What It’s Not For

Starfill Plus is soft by design, and that’s a strength — but it does have limits. That said, when the goal shifts to structural projection — nose augmentation, chin definition, or malar augmentation — practitioners should reach for Starfill Deep Plus or Starfill Implant Plus instead.

How Long Does It Last?

Starfill Plus typically delivers results lasting 6 to 12 months. In fact, JETEMA’s clinical assessments tracked sustained wrinkle improvement at 8, 16, and 24 weeks post-treatment, confirming consistent performance across the entire follow-up period.

Even so, individual metabolism, injection depth, and treatment area all influence how long any patient retains their results.
